I really enjoyed this book. It was sexy, cute, funny and a little heartbreaking, but mostly it was real. ~ Donna, Guilty Pleasures

Description:
Carmyn Rafferty witnessed the aftermath of her mother’s affair. She learned at a young age not to trust anyone. Especially not your spouse. So she’s planned. She’s planned every detail of her life: who her husband will be, what their careers will be, what their lives will be like. All to avoid the pain of infidelity.
Dallas Brown lives according to his own terms. He doesn’t do relationships, he doesn’t care what anyone thinks of him, and he doesn’t live up to anyone’s expectations.
When Carmyn’s fiancé cheats on her, it sends her into a whirlwind of one-night stands with the most infamous player on campus. She can’t seem to stay away from this tough guy and his dangerous motorcycle. Everything about him is the complete opposite of who she’d planned to fall in love with: tattoos, dark stubble along his jawline, and hair that brushes his shoulders.
As Dallas and Carmyn begin to fall deeper and deeper into each other, they learn that love can truly be a wicked, wicked thing.

Carmyn Rafferty had it all planned out. She was going to marry the clean cut boy with the promising profession. She even changed her college major to fit into the neat package she created. She has it all with Becker, and after dating since freshman year, they plan to marry after they graduate. She’s tried everything he’s asked of her to keep him satisfied and prevent him from straying, but sometimes everything isn’t enough. One night, she walks in on him with another girl and her perfectly planned life crumbles around her.
“It’s hotter than the devils ball sack tonight.”
Dallas Brown doesn’t do relationships. He’s seen firsthand what they lead to. He’s not a cheater and he doesn’t lead women on. He’s upfront with them, he’s out to have a good time, but he won’t be there in the morning and don’t expect a phone call or a date. Hey, at least he’s not lying to them.
“I don’t do relationships, but I’m going to marry the shit out of this woman.”
I really enjoyed this book. It was sexy, cute, funny and a little heartbreaking. Both of these characters have been shaped by events in their childhood and honestly who’s not? They live with the scars from their parents and do what they need to do to protect themselves from being hurt. But they learn that even the best laid plans don’t always go the way they were meant to. This is an honest story about love, betrayal, life’s issues and dealing with the hand dealt. This author made me believe the story and it seemed plausible. Sometimes in fiction I feel like things move too fast and it reminds me that it’s just a story, but this book was not like that. Tension between the main characters wasn’t caused by the usual misunderstanding, it was fresh and very much fit the plot. I am looking forward to the next book in this series and am happy to add Dallas Brown to my long list of Book Boyfriends. Motorcycle, muscles, brains, creative and tattoo’s, oh yeah he’s the total package.

this looks and sounds awesome 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
