I was excited when I found out that Annabel Joseph has written a new series.

Hunter is your typical rouge for this time period novel. Hunter and his friends spend their time frolicking around ton looking for new forms of debauchery. The four friends knew their time was coming to an end after their last party. Since the age of 14, Hunter knew he was to marry Lady Aurelia.

Unfortunately for Hunter, he isn’t her first choice. But when you are betrothed to a Duke at the age of 4 your choice has been made for you. I loved the nativity and innocence of Lady Aurelia. She was perfect for for such a rake as Hunter.

I thought Annabel did a great job getting the reader to fall in love with both characters. I was routing for them throughout the book. The sexual tension that was created between both was pretty powerful. I loved the training sessions. Their training sessions help build their relationship filled with trust and love.

I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of these rakes.
