There’s so much intrigue you can’t help but want more. ~ Charnel, Guilty Pleasures
Description:
When you absolutely, positively have a world to save, you need to call in…the Drunk Monkeys.
Celia Jorgens is a reporter from Chicago. Traveling to Australia, she’s chasing the story of a lifetime—and a scientist she thinks might have answers to stop the deadly Kite virus that’s ravaging the globe.
Tango and Doc are part of the Drunk Monkeys elite special ops unit. They’ve been given a mission, to bring in the scientist and use the reporter to find him.
Unfortunately, it turns out shadow factions want them to fail, and the men no longer know who they can trust. As passions flare between Celia and her two hunky military men, they all find themselves in a race to escape Australia before the borders close and their enemies find them. Now, it’s up to Celia and the Drunk Monkeys to go off-the-grid and commit a little monkey business of their own before time runs out for the human race.

In the first half of Monkey Business readers learn about life in the near future and Kite; the virus and the drug that is slowly killing off everyone in the World. The virus is quickly spreading and many are looking for a cure but not all want the cure for the right reasons.
We are introduced to the special ops team of the Drunk Monkey who are under orders to find the scientist that helped create the virus so the scientist can come together to put an end to it.
We meet the first scientist on the list thanks to reporter Cilia Jorgens who was hot on his trail then intercepted by the Drunk Monkeys. Celia Jorgens is a reporter who loves her family is hoping to find the scientist to make world better place for her niece and nephew, not realizing how out of her league she is Celia is followed then taken by Tango and Doc of the Drunk Monkeys team and held for her own safety.
Opposite the Drunk Monkey team is this crazy Rev. Silo, he wants to take over the country, he’s blackmailing everyone that could possibly be of use to him, he’s holding his wife hostage and abusing her in many ways trying to gain more power than any man needs.
The relationship between Celia, Tango and Doc kind of takes a backseat to the telling of the rest of the story; the reader basically assumes they connected due to close proximity and having similar goals in wanting to end the virus.
There are 20 men in Drunk Monkey team leading to 10 books of MFM stories. A lot of back story leaves the reader exited for the next installment to find the next scientist to end this virus/drug. There’s so much intrigue you can’t help but want more.
