The book is well written and the characters are likable- Zack and Law are yummy-it just didn’t feel terribly original. ~ Shadow, Guilty Pleasures

Courtney Sheldon never wanted to go back to Desire, her childhood home – until the residents kicked her family out of town. Now, she has to go back. Law and Zach Tyler have spent years trying to buy the property, but the elderly lady who owned it refused to sell – at any price. After meeting Courtney, they know why. They also know they’ve found the woman they’ve been searching for. Convincing her that they want her for herself, and not the land she will inherit, proves difficult, but nothing compared to earning her trust when she learns that they not only want to be her lovers – but her Masters . Drawn into the world of dominance and submission, Courtney finds herself trusting again, and learning the meaning of intimacy – and pleasure. But how can she live in a town with so many bad memories, especially when her father has vowed revenge on her and the residents of Desire for shunning him?

This entry into the Desire, Oklahoma series is not one of Leah Brooke’s best efforts. Its not a bad read, but it feels like its been done-innocent woman comes to town, meets two Doms who fall for her and want to keep her as theirs. The twist in this one is that Courtney Sheldon has lived in Desire before-and her family was run out of town because of the way her father treated her and her mother.

Courtney is required to live in the house her aunt left to her for a year or it goes to her abusive father,. Zack and Law Tyler want the house-but quickly decide they want Courtney even more.

But Courtney’s bad memories of the town keep her determined to leave as soon as the year is up. Can the Tyler brothers change her mind-especially when demons from the past affect the present?

The book is well written and the characters are likable- Zack and Law are yummy-it just didn’t feel terribly original. The author has written other books with more interesting and original plots.

We do get to become reacquainted with some of the other residents of Desire, and catch up with their current situation-especially Hope and Ace Tyler, who share a house with Ace’s brothers Zack and Law.

Expect some very light BDSM along with some very hot sex scenes.
