Sexy Designs is a super short (three chapter) story that begins a new series by author Desiree Holt and is geared towards the over 55 crowd. In the Paradise Ranch series, mature adults find lust, love, and hot sexy times as they settle into their twilight years. I’ll admit I love seeing a series where the hero and heroine are both older, have lived life and still enjoy having a sex life!
When Ben Randall sold his family ranch, he kept 1400 acres and decided to build an active adult community that he would enjoy; hiring Grace Traynor to design the decor was a no brainer with her excellent references but Ben also couldn’t help but notice the beautiful woman behind the power suits and the “back off” attitude.
I enjoyed Ben’s not so subtle way of getting Grace to agree to dinner with him but I also appreciated that when she appeared upset he was willing to back off and leave her alone. I was pleased by the amount of back story we got on both of these characters despite the short length of this book and thrilled for them to prove that good sex and spontaneity doesn’t end at 40.
Entertaining and sexy I thoroughly enjoyed Sexy Designs and can’t wait to see where this series goes next!
