In HISSY FIT we meet Raleigh and Ezra, two people who went to school together, but only one of them knew the other existed. Raleigh is without a doubt the clumsiest, most awkward heroine I have ever read. Seriously, I wanted to jump in the book and put her in a plastic bubble. In this case clumsy worked for her because she literally fell at Ezra’s feet. This epic accident made Ezra FINALLY notice her for the first time. Once he did he couldn’t forget her. I cringed at times because of the things Raleigh has lived through, I was mortified for her. I felt bad for Ezra because finally “seeing” Raleigh made him realize how self-absorbed he was when he was younger.
Even with all of her clumsiness, Raleigh is interesting, definitely quirky and sassy. Ezra is definitely an alpha male but more of a low key, sweet one. Once he sets his sights on Raleigh he will melt you heart (and panties). As in all LLV books the secondary cast is exemplary, but Ezra’s niece and nephew steal every scene they are in. I think I may have laughed more in this book than I did in any other LLV book.
HISSY FIT does have a different tone than other LLV books, it’s sweet, funny and hot, not as much drama as some have, but still has all the greatness that Ms. Vale puts in every single book!
