Shadow- Lora Leigh’s breeds introduced me to paranormal romance. I love the Alpha males, the hot scenes, and the drama in each story.
Charnel- Shelly Laurenston. I can’t remember anything before her. I love how I laugh out loud w/ every book.
Rhys- Laurell K Hamilton. After getting the first book (Guilty Pleasures) from a boyfriend I fell in love with her

I think it was Alexandra Ivy’s Guardians of Eternity series was first introduce me with paranormal romance, and then to another author like Gena showalter, Nalini singh, Patriscia Briggs etc etc.
I started with Kresley Cole’s Immortals After Dark. I haven’t looked back. Great list of firsts!
Lora Leigh’s series was one of my first but I’ve only recently started reading Immortals After Dark.
Oh my I really should try Sherrilyn Kenyon… this author is everywhere! LOL J.R ward and Kresley Cole are one of my favorite authors! My first was Karen Marie Moning!
Love both of her series!
I haven’t read anything by Sparks & Cole, but of course heard lots about the books. Except for Zsadist’s book the BDB series isn’t my thing. Good, entertaining….yes – I just didn’t have a WOW moment.

I haven’t read Lora Leigh or Sparks, but definitely love the BDB and Dark-Hunters and IAD. Dark Hunters is actually my first! Kyrian and Julian still rank on top of my favorite heros!

Well, the Twilight series is what got me started reading romance. But the first adult paranormal I read was Cynthia Eden’s HOTTER AFTER MIDNIGHT. Her Midnight Trilogy is one of my favorite series. I also love JR Ward, Jeaniene Frost & Karen Marie Moning.
