Indulgence is a great new line of category romances. We’re offering readers stories that will leave them with the payoff of a big smile on their faces once their done reading. The stories we publish are varied, but always center on the growing relationship between the hero and the heroine. Everything is a backdrop to the development of their relationship. So these are very much relationship books, but the setting, tone, style will vary; there’s going to be something that will appeal to readers.
Our launch month had a Greek billionaire and a stunt man as two hero types. Worlds apart, but they were both alpha males in their own right. That’s the other thing with Indulgences – these heroes are alpha males. Not the alpha male many people associate with that term, but the modern-day alpha male, the guy who is the complete package: confident, intelligent, a go-getter, kind (maybe not to everyone, but at least to some!), and he’s never a real jerk or dismissive of women. He’s the guy every guy wants to be and the guy every woman wants to have. Your idea of the perfect alpha male is different from my vision and some other woman’s, but every hero we have in our books is a true gem and worth getting to know. I dare you not fall in love with these men and stories!
Indulgences run the spectrum with heat level. We go from closed door to not quite erotica. You never know what you’re going to get, but regardless of sensuality level, there will always be a solid story and plot.
We’re launching four new titles March 15, and there’s a mix in this bunch too: an Italian billionaire who uses seduction to get what he wants, a sexy professor who has a restless spirit, and a hard-on-the-outside wealthy businessman who learns it’s okay to let your guard down for the right woman. I would like to ask you about the “image” of the Indulgence line: all the covers so far not only have thes very specific Greek font, but the blue and white colours are dominant, is that a conscious decision to make the category recognizable at first glance or is it just a coincidence all these titles unded up the way they did?

An alpha male to me is one who is strong, dominant, never abusive and he has a softer side that only becomes visible when he’s in love!
A whole genre based on Alpha males. Sounds great!
alpha is strong and dominant in character, confident and aggresive when his female in danger.
Strong personality, yet able to admit when wrong. Protective of his mate. Loyal to the ones he loves.
For me its someone that is strong, yet vulnerable to the heroine. Will admit his mistakes and gets weak in the knees when he realizes how much he loves the heroine.
