Description
Acclaimed romance author Katie Lane inspires listeners to believe in true love. When Faith Aldridge learns she has a twin sister, she treks to Bramble, Texas, to find her. But Bramble’s residents think Faith is her sister, Hope, and they take action to reunite Faith with Hope’s ex-flame, Slate. When the real Hope finally shows up, Faith pulls out all the stops to hold onto her new found passion.
DiDi’s Thoughts
Faith goes to Bramble TX looking for a twin she never knew she had. What she finds is a case of mistaken identity, a smokin’ hot cowboy, who tries everything to seduce her, a small town full of quirky busybodies, said busybodies refuse to believe she is Faith and not her twin, which causes a ruckus and a dog named Buster, she almost accidentally kills, well, almost on a daily basis.
Being TEXAS born and bred myself, I was cringing at some of the satirical stereotypes of a small Texas town, but once I got into the first couple of chapters I couldn’t help but laugh along with the story, especially when I admit I’ve come in contact with some of those type people.
This is a fast paced, story with humor, emotions, comedy and just enough steam to make me catch my breath and get a little tingly.
Actually, I LOVE the way the intimate scenes are written, because they did make me catch my breath without being erotic, don’t get me wrong they are descriptive, just not “boom, chicka, wow-wow” descriptive.
Katie Lane is a new author to me, but I will definitely keep my eyes out for more from her.

I have read this book and book 2, and am waiting on book 3, which I hope comes to me soon… I just love these sisters and all the cowboy hunks that Katie Lane writes about. I just love all quirky characters of Brumble TX…
Loved this book and Make Mine A Bad Boy which is Hope’s story. Have Catch Me A Cowboy(#3) on my list.
Thanks for the review Didi. I love my cowboy books and Katie is a new authorforme. Sounds likea series that could be very interesting.
Sounds interesting!
Great review. This sounds like a good story. Always looking for new authors to add to my reading list.
I’ve heard about Katie, but haven’t read any of her books yet. Sometimes less Boom Chick a Wow Wow is hotter than full on details.
Didi, great review and I’ll check it out soon. I too cringe at stereotypical Texas characters but sometimes I just have to overlook it. Love your description of the love scenes…cracking up “boom chicka wow wow…LOL”!
