TO COMMAND AND COLLAR is a sexy, emotionally packed masterpiece.

Master Raoul has commanded Club Shadowlands’ fans attention since we first met him.  I mean who can resist a dark haired, dark eyed DOM with all that smoldering Latino sensuality?  The emotions he feels and displays while rescuing Kimberly are intense.  The patience he shows while dealing with her PTSD and the ability he has to push her without damaging her psyche is amazing.   The way he puts her needs and satisfaction above his is heartwarming and the way he loves her is pantymelting.  Master R epitomizes my image of a DOM.  Kimberly went through weeks of torture and rape at the hands of monsters, yet she never lost her spirit, almost, but never completely let it go. Even with her fear of DOMs she still has the balls to sass Master R and it always made me smile.

Master R rescued Kimberly but complications came up and they were forced to stay together longer.  Something that no one, even the all-knowing Master Z thought was a good idea.  However, once rescued she fought bit by bit to regain herself.  Under the care of Master R and with the help of the Shadowlands’ family she is able to start pulling herself together again.  Just as Kimberly thinks she is almost back to being as fully functional as possible, her world is turned upside again.  All her progress and the fragile bond between her and Master R are tested….will they hold or crumble???

Watching the fragile bond between a demanding DOM and an abused sub grow was beautiful.

The Brat-Pack is back  and as delightfully mischievous as ever, they now have a new member in Kimberly.  The Masters are all still sexy as hell and being kept on their toes by their bratty subs.   BTW….I live on the Texas Gulf Coast and seeing sailboats is very common…THANKS to Cherise and the Brat-Pack I will NEVER AGAIN be able to see a sailboat without first busting out laughing, then breaking out in a sweat  =)

One of my many favorite parts was finding out there is someone out there who has the ability to COMMAND Master Dan  =)

TCaC does deal with the very real and dark subject matter of human trafficking and the emotional fallout if one is rescued from being a sex slave.  It’s not pretty folks…but Ms. Sinclair does a wonderful job of describing the emotions, fear and despair one may feel.  TO COMMAND AND COLLAR is a  beautiful story of escape, healing physically, as well as emotionally, and finding love after one has thought all was lost. This was IMO the hottest, sweetest, funniest, most emotional ending to any of the Club Shadowlands books. Over the series of books I have loved watching this group of friends turn into a FAMILY.

I’m anxious to learn more about Sally, Master Sam, Vance, Kouros and the slave Master Sam rescued.

Now I get to WHINE…When is the next Club Shadowlands book?
