Jake and Sadie will do whatever it takes to make Evan realize he can have it all—his company, true love, and both Jake and Sadie in his bed…and his kitchen…and the playroom…

While Jake and Evan will do whatever it takes to protect Sadie from her husband’s real murderers.

Piper’s Thoughts
This was my first Nikki Soarde book and I REALLY enjoyed it!

Evan and Jake have been seeing each other for awhile now (they have a story Tuxedo Tryst which I have not read, but will be going back to read), but Jake knows something is up with Evan. Jake wishes Evan would be more open about thier relationship, but he will still take Evan any way he can have him.

Sadie has been through a hard time. She has been in prison for the murder of her husband, a crime she did not comment. Everyone from Sadie’s previous life has turned their backs on her, including Evan who was her late husbands best friend. Once Evan sees Sadie again all his old feelings for her come rushing back.

Evan and Sadie were married to other people, but they had a strong attraction for each that they never acted on. Sadie reached out to Evan from prison, but he ignored her. When Evan tells Jake Sadie’s story he takes it upon himself to help her, even if it means telling her Evan has sent him.

There is so much going on between Jake, Evan and Sadie. I love that Jake just takes in Sadie no questions asked. Sadie has been through so much and it is great to see her coming back into her own and falling in love with a guy as wonderful as Jake. Evan really stuggles with his relationship with Jake and his newly found daughter only complicates matters for Evan. At first I was not really sure if I liked Evan’s daughter Rachel, but she came around in the end I was glad for that. Jake, Evan and Sadie have a rough time getting to their HEA, but the story kept me going until the end.

This is a great story about complicated relationships, not judging people for their choices, but for who they are as a person. There are some surprises along the way as well. All the character are well written and there is just enough suspense to keep you turning the pages to find out what happens. I am not one of those people who likes to give things away in a story with suspense, so I will just let you be the judge of that. I will say, I did not except the last part of the story. I thought I had it all wrapped up and then BAM surprise and was like WOW did not see that coming. All in all this is a great read with suspense, two hot guys, and a wonderful women FINALLY getting the life she deserves and some hot sex!

HAPPY READING!
