Description:
Rising star attorney Harper Callahan hires Ian Burke to landscape his backyard, but it’s his heart that gets the real makeover. Cautious at first, Ian is soon won over by Harper’s good looks and charm, and before they know it they’re on the fast track to romance.

Then a brush with death makes Harper and Ian reassess their plans for the future… and offers them an opportunity for adventure. What starts out as a casual fantasy of owning and operating a B&B on Lake Superior soon explodes into reality as Harper and Ian realize that when they rely on each other, they can accomplish great things.

Rhayne’s Thoughts:
This is a great story about love, trust and owning who you are.

Harper and Ian are the two main characters in this story. They are amazing together. Their relationship moves along rapidly, but it works for both of them. They both know how to recognize the strengths and weaknesses in the other and work hard to build a future together.

I love the emotion that they show each other. It was real and sweet and not forced or unbelievable.

The additional cast of characters added so much energy and humor. The dialog is real and not forced. The pace of the story was great and the detail balance was perfect. It’s not overdone, but just enough to be able to visualize the scenes. I loved the way the landscapes were described. It made me want to find this amazing B&B and never leave.

If you’re looking for a sweet love story with lots of humor and romance, this is for you!

Enjoy!
