Description:
Convenience store clerk, Katy Simms has got to be the only woman in North America who hasn’t heard of megastar Derrick Nelson, which makes her boarding house the perfect place for him to recover from a nervous breakdown. When he stumbles into her life one summer night, all Katy sees is a unemployed drifter named Caleb who needs a couple of decent meals and some human compassion. Her presence calms his soul, while his patience lifts her confidence.

Together, they are more, but will Caleb’s fame and Katy’s generous nature drive a wedge between two people who were meant to be…ever together?

Rhayne’s Thoughts:
Ever together is a great heartwarming story. This is not a book full of a lot of drama or lots of sexy bedroom scenes, but it is filled with romance and passion and a cast of characters that are so easy to fall in love with and cheer for.

Caleb and Katy are complete opposites. He enjoys not having to be a movie star while he is with her. He can be real and relaxed. Katy is a very genuine and honest person and is not too impressed when she finds out he is not who he claimed to be. I loved the way they worked together through their problems. They share their feelings for each other early on and you get to experience their relationship grow, which added a great element to the story.

The movie star and the paparazzi aspect were very well written and it gives you a real insight into the not-so glamorous part of stardom. Stalkers, tabloid articles, insane photographers, are just a few of the issues that this couple has to deal with.

There are a lot of issues they have to overcome in order to get their HEA and it’s an amazing journey to follow. There are enough twist and turns to keep you interested and always wondering what is next.

Caleb and Katy carry the story well. They are both headstrong, passionate, and caring people that charge the air whenever they are together. I would gladly recommend this book to anyone looking to escape into a fast-paced highly romantic read.

Enjoy, I sure did!
