Description
With a past as dark and sully as a strip club, Dana Wilcox is just to make it by without anyone taking too much notice to ask questions. Starting “Best Laid Plans Event Planning” was suppose to be her ticket out of her old life, and Dana is willing to do anything to keep from going back to where she came from. He had to have her, is the only thought on Rick’s mind. Not only is she gorgeous, but there is just something about Dana that makes Rick crazy with lust. She has gotten under his skin and he wants to keep her there permanently, even if it means fibbing a bit just to get to spend more time with her. When a crazed fan threatens both Rick and Dana’s future, just how far is Rick willing to go to get the girl in the end? And in the aftermath will Dana see him as a risk worth taking or just a casualty to her bad judgment?
Rhys’ Thoughts
This is the third book in the Hot Ice Series, and the books just keep getting hotter. Lily Harlem knows how to keep a reader interested from the first page with characters that are realistic and a plot that will keep you guessing until the last page. I hated to see this book end but I hope that there will be more in this series because the characters that were introduced in this one were funny and complex and I’d love to get to know them. This entire series would make a great addition to anyone’s reading shelf and Lily Harlem is definitely someone to watch out for in the future!

I actually am not a fan of hockey but after these books I am a fan for sure. The hockey actually plays a. Ice backdrop to the books so if you aren’t familiar wi all of e hockey terms than its won’t ruin the books for you.
I am so excited that there will be more books in this series. If a guy like Rick wanted to have me I would bend over backwards for him. Cause he is hot, hot HOT!!!
I read the first 2 books in the series and loved them! I can’t wait to read Slapshot, especially if you say it’s even hotter than the previous books ;-D

I’m back now, having read Slap Shot (and was craving more so I even read Teamwork), and though I enjoyed Slap Shot, I think it may have been my least favourite of the 4, maybe it’s due to the heroine, I liked the other heroines better. But like you, I just can’t wait to read more Hot Ice books! 😀
