Description:
Mandy Garland’s father skipped town, leaving her mother alone to raise her. When Decker Royce locates her missing father, Mandy thinks she’s found the one man she can trust.

Jimmy Lingo knows Mandy’s his true mate and has sent her dreams of six men who pledge both their bodies and their hearts to her. But Mandy’s father is a girl’s worst nightmare. Owing thousands from gambling losses, her father is under the thumb of a rival werewolf pack and isn’t above selling Mandy to the leader to pay his debt.

Determined to save Mandy from marriage to the other pack’s leader, Jimmy takes her to the Matheson Ranch, but the rival werewolf refuses to give her up. A battle for love and money brings the truth to the surface. Will Mandy sacrifice her happiness to save her father? Or will she accept Jimmy’s love and become a Night Runner werewolf?

Note: The heroine of each book will mate with the pack but will end up with one alpha hero. Each hero in the pack will take his own mate in subsequent books.

Note: There is no sexual relationship or touching for titillation between or among the men.

Alyn’s Thoughts:
Mandy is tired of her mother avoiding questions about her dad. All that she knows is that he abandoned her when she was a child, he has a gambling problem and he is a drunk. Decker, Mandy’s boyfriend, is against her trying to find her father and sides with her mom on the issue. The only positive thing Mandy has going for her lately is the fact that she sleeps well at night and wishes she could do it more often. Her dreams are erotic and seem so real that she swears those men were with her. Six gorgeous men that mysteriously invade her dreams and help her explore a sexual side she had never imagined.

Jimmy is anxious. He has seen two of his packmates find their true mate and he knows his is near. For weeks he and his pack have shared her dreams and they have shown her how amazing being loved by a pack can be. If only he knew how to find her. He feels her presence and knows she is coming soon but for Jimmy it is not soon enough. When he sees that beautiful young woman step off the bus looking for her father, he knows he one and only has finally arrived.

Mandy is not sure what to think of the young hunk welcoming her to Lost Hills’ Texas. When he tells her that he knows her father and that he can help her find him, she has no choice but to take his word on it. What is worse, she can’t keep her eyes off him despite reminding herself of her boyfriend Decker. There is something between her and Jimmy and she can’t seem to figure it out but her body and mind can’t resist him. When her visit with her father doesn’t go exactly as planned, Mandy finds herself at a ranch filled with Jimmy, the young hottie who helped her, and five other handsome ranchers living with one woman. She can’t put her finnger on it, but they seem so familiar to her. Mandy finds herself drawing closer to Jimmy and his friends with each passing moment until all hell breaks loose.

This was a really enjoyable story. With this being the third book in the Night Runner series, it was still easy to pick up on the story line even though I have not read the previous books. I like the idea that the entire pack initiates new females and think it is interesting that they are able to dream walk with future mates. The plot in the story kept my interest and I like the way it unfolded. While the love scenes are fun, they seem to go by quickly and I would have appreciated more detail. That being said, this was not a simple shifter sex story as some can be and it had a back story I appreciated. One thing I did miss is what happens after the transition. I would have liked to have seen a prologue or something that shows the characters adjusting to their new life. Overall I enjoyed the story and will be looking for the fourth book when it comes out. It was an easy read and a fun one at that.
