Ava’s Favorite Erotica
The Baumgartners Plus One by Selena Kitt
First, I love erotic romance and erotica, and have read some amazing (and popular) erotic love stories that can melt anyone. But I want to share one maybe you haven’t read, because this one, is different. I think it opened my mind to world of other books I probably would have not read if Selena’s work hadn’t entered my life. There’s something to be said about a book that stretches your boundaries, and you still love it afterward. I often consider Selena’s work in a class all it’s own, because it’s so ‘out of the mold’ compared to others within this general genre. The Baumgartners Plus One, manages to cover some serious relationship dynamics featuring, love, loss, longing, friendship and forgiveness- and still be one of the steamiest books I’ve read to date — without losing the ‘reality’ element that connects with the reader. Yes it’s graphic and sexy and intense, but you believe it, and that is truly amazing.
Alyn’s Favorite Erotic Romance
If I had to pick one erotic novel that is simply a favorite it would have to be Nobody’s Hero by Kallypso Masters. Being a huge fan of the BDSM genre to begin with, this book takes erotic to a whole new level and brought the word “Ka-Thunk” into my vocabulary. Master Adam is simply a presence and his ability to bring a woman to submission with nothing more than three words (eyes on me) simply leaves me squirming and begging to be his submissive. His emotions are strong and I fall in love every time he thinks of new and creative ways to show his woman how much he cares about her discipline and pleasure.
Kallypso Masters is an artist with words. Her BDSM scenes are erotic and detailed in a way that makes the reader feel as if they are right there. The feel of a hard desk against the flesh during a spanking in an office, the rasp of a rope against the skin in a Shibari session, the nervousness of not knowing what punishment is to come, or the frustration a woman feels when being forced to orgasm even when she feels she simply can’t handle any more. Simply imagining all of these scenes in one book makes a girl wish she was in subspace and I am no exception. This book is emotional, sensual, and erotic beyond words. Consider it the my crack, because I am without a doubt, an addict!
DiDi’s Favorite Erotic Romance
My go to, feel good, make me hot, make me cry, make me laugh, total package erotic romance is Cowgirl Up and Ride by Lorelei James. While I LOVE the entire Rough Riders series, CUAR maintains it’s #1 spot in my heart.
Cord McKay is a single dad and ALPHA to the core. He hasn’t had time or energy for dating between ranch work and raising his son. AJ Foster is Cord’s younger sister’s best friend, the girls grew up together. AJ has wanted Cord for as long as she remembers and he doesn’t see her as anything other than his son’s baby-sitter and his sister’s best friend. When AJ decides to go after Cord, she rocks his world. Cord is such a sexy beast, by nature he has a true dominant side, no this is not a BDSM book, but there is some sexy dominance and rope play. Cord’s favorite nickname for AJ is “Baby Doll” and anytime I read it I get shivers =)
Lorelei James is a true wordsmith, she has created a small town erotic romance, that not only makes you grab for a fan and batteries, but also has a FULL story to go along with it. The emotional journey Cord has to go on to allow himself to finally LOVE AJ is intense and heartwarming.
Honestly, CUAR is not only my favorite erotic romance, it is up there as one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE ROMANCES ever.
KcLu’s Favorite Erotic Romance
I have to say one of my favorite erotic books has to be Unbridled by Delilah Devlin. This was the first MMF book I ever read, and have have read it many times in the last year. This book takes three people that have known each other for years, and has them discovering new sides of each other. It has a little bondage and spanking, but I don’t know that I would call it a BDSM themed book.
Dani Standifer comes home from graduating college to find the two men in her life have a secret. Her long time boyfriend Rowan and the town bad boy Justin , who was also her one and only one night stand, have a secret. They have become lovers, but they also want to include her in their lovemaking. She has to come to terms with this side of them, and decide if she wants to be included. I love the scenes between these three!! I love how they learn to work with each others personalities and how they grow emotionally by leaning in each other. Oh and this book is panty melting HOT!!
Slick’s Favorite Erotic Romance
My favorite erotic book, I can’t pick just one, but when I started thinking my mind immediately went to the all the series that I love. There are a lot and while some people would consider my all time favorite series Lorelei James’ Rough Riders erotic…to me it’s pretty mainstream. Don’t get my wrong, I adore that series but for the most part there’s just a lot of good lovin’ going on there! So, erotic….I’m going to have to go with the Desire Oklahoma series by Leah Brooke. First off, who the hell wouldn’t want to live in a town where the women are treated like queens? Where, multiple partner relationships are the norm, BDSM is encouraged, and they have some really, really cool stores to shop in for all your needs. Great women’s club, a restaurant with privacy booths and oh, let’s not forget the spa where they know how to “prepare” a girl for anything. Then there’s all the hunky eye candy walking around, heck even if they are taken it doesn’t hurt to look! If you haven’t read the Desire, Oklahoma series you are missing out.
Kitty’s Favorite Erotic Romance
It is truly hard to choose one of Cherise Sinclair’s books to pick as my favorite. I love both of her series; Masters of the Shadowlands and Masters of the Mountain. She grabbed me in Club Shadlowlands and has kept me breathless straight through To Command and Collar in her Shadowlands Series. And, her Masters of the Mountain series is just as good. In both series, Ms. Sinclair mixes erotica with BDSM and a bit of mystery which makes for an interesting read.
Having to choose just one of her books, I would probably go with Dark Citadel, Dan and Kari’s story. After the passing of his wife, Dan did not want to have another Sub. Kari, brought up “repressed” with hardly any interest in sex felt that she did not fit in the D/s scene. The beauty of both of them opening up to each other and the love that they finally give in to was enthralling. The roller coaster ride Ms. Sinclair brings you on throughout the book is amazing.
In the Masters of the Mountain Series, Dark Abyss would be my favorite (so far). The storyline for Jake and Kallie is amazing. The submission, the wilderness, the murders and attempted murder are all weaved into a brilliantly written book. I so look forward to seeing where this series leads.
Honestly, Cherise Sinclair was one of the first true BDSM authors that I read and she completely got me hooked on the genre. I always enjoyed reading “Adult Erotica” and thoroughly enjoy Bella Andre, Lora Leigh, Kallypso Masters, Sylvia Day and Maya Banks (just to name a few) but, Ms. Sinclair has me chained, tied and breathless waiting for the next installments of these two series.

The Relectent Dom by Tymber Dalton was one of the first BDSM books I read. Biance Sommerville was my next author and now its Sophie Oaks. So I enjoy a variety. Bianca has a new hockey book coming out Defensive Zone, which will be a#1.
