Description:
When Katie Sellers moved from San Francisco to Elk’s Crossing, North Dakota, she was leaving behind an abusive relationship, and not looking for anything more exciting than simply a new
beginning. What Katie never realized was that small-town cowboys can lead to big-time romance and sizzling sensuality.

Despite the cowboy boots and powerfully broad shoulders, there’s a polished charm to Aaron McGowan that the ladies all love. As head of the McGowan clan, he runs a profitable cattle ranch with his three younger brothers, Flynn, Blair, and Garrett. The men all enjoy the innocent flirtation with Katie, the new girl in town, until a simple game leads to romance and seduction, and men who have never had to share find themselves falling in love with the same woman. Meanwhile, the man from Katie’s past decides she needs to suffer, just to put her karma in order…

I always enjoy a good Menage that includes cowboys. Throw in a little mystery and you have a good book that holds your interest. This book was no exception.

Katie moves to Elk’s Crossing attempting to put distance between herself and her abusive ex-boyfriend and to help her Grandmother run her saloon. She never figured that she would meet the McGowen brothers and have her whole life turned upside down.

Ecstasy in Elk’s Crossing is centered around 4 brothers who have never shared a woman before. They have sworn to not leave the ranch that was handed down to them and none of them have ever found a woman who was willing to just stay in Elk’s Crossing. Katie has no intentions of staying but is forced to when her Grandparents decide to spend the winter with friends and ask her to take over the running of The Mountain View Saloon. What starts off as a little flirtation turns into a contest to see which of the brother’s kisses the best. Of course, since she had to be impartial, she is blindfolded and what happens from there is pure ecstasy. But, what no one knows is her ex-boyfriend found out where she is and is coming to exact his revenge on the woman who ruined his life.

There were some great scenes in Ecstasy that showed the shy, inexperienced Katie with the brothers learning how to share her. When Katie finally comes to terms with the fact that she is falling for all 4 of the brothers, nothing will stop her from being with them. Not even the attempted murder of her and the eldest brother, Aaron.

I enjoyed reading Ms. Gideon’s book. It was a quick read and kept moving. You knew who was attempting to murder Katie but that didn’t take away from the mystery. There were a few parts that had me confused as to how or why they were put in the book but, all in all, it was good book with an HEA for all parties involved.

Thought the cover was quite sculptural, i.e. the heroine chest. Thanks for the interesting review.
