When I was a child, I had a book by my bed that had probably over 100 little fairy tales and assorted short stories in it. For a child, it was a big book and looking back some of the stories should have given me nightmares, but what I loved about it was the stories were short and I could read one or two a night as I drifted off to sleep. I’ve always loved reading before I go to sleep and that hasn’t changed, but I hate reading something I can’t finish. Chatting with some of you, I know you feel the same way. So, I’m sharing with you today some great choices for ADULT bedtime reading. The Bordella, Books 1 & 2, are a collection of stories about women’s fantasies. They all take place within the walls of The Women’s Executive Club in New York City, known affectionately as The Bordella by its many members.

Both of these collections contains six very short stories designed to get your imagination running and are guaranteed to have you reaching for your significant other or you favorite BOB. I’ll be frank, these stories are about sex…the men (known as Players by the women who frequent the club) are there to fulfill any and every fantasy their clients have. Yes, there is some sweet talk, some dirty talk, and even some very frank discussions but the main theme here is women living out their every fantasy with men who are paid to give it to them.

The stories in these books are written by different people so there are a lot of different styles and of course different types of fantasies but I have no doubt there is something for everyone. While I read them straight through for this review, next time I plan on savoring them reading one a night and enjoying them individually.

Please remember these aren’t “love” stories, there isn’t any real plot or character development. They are written to titillate and open your mind to possibilities. A little role playing can be fun and believe me after reading The Bordella books you’ll have more than enough ammunition to keep things interesting for a long time!
