Lessons from the Professor introduced me to another new to me author, Shyla Colt. I really enjoyed her writing style. This is a great BDSM light story! He has been a Dom for years, and his dominate ways speak to her on deeper level.

Sutton had to grow up fast when her father died. She made a promise to herself many years ago she wouldn’t end up dependant on a man like her mother. She put her carrier first for years, and doesn’t know how to stop. Until her friend and coworker introduces her to Sidney a much older professor.

Sidney has had a bad experience with a sub new to the lifestyle in the past, and he is unsure about taking a chance on Sutton. But as he gets to know her better he sees she is nothing like the woman that broke him.

The story of these two is a quick beautiful story!! I love how he took his time to introduce her into the lifestyle instead of jumping straight into tying her up and spanking the tar out of her. It felt like a true transition into a new world for Sutton. I loved how real these characters seemed. Their insecurities are dealt with wonderfully, and although this is a quick read you don’t feel like they were rushed to HEA. I hope y’all like this one as much as I have.
