I became a Toni Blake fan with her Destiny Series so when I got the chance to read the re-release of her first book The Red Diary, I jumped on it since I knew Ms Blake to be an exceptional writer! Needless to say, I wasn’t disappointed.

Lauren Ash grew up with wealth and privilege, everything Nick Armstrong felt he deserved. Even though there was something about Lauren that pulled him in he couldn’t help but try and hold her accountable for all of the wrongs done to his family at the hands of her father. But the draw between these two characters is just too strong to be denied.

Getting the chance to read this book and see how Ms Blake’s writing style has evolved over the years was an amazing privilege and after reading the Red Diary I know understand why she has garnered so much success with her writing career. This is a MUST READ to anyone who loves Toni as well as anyone looking for a new author to add to their TBR list. The Red Diary has everything you could possibly want in a romance.
