I love the changing colors of the leaves. Reds, yellows, browns, oranges, russet all create a delightful palate that is the last bit of beauty before winter sets in.

  2. Corinne

I wait till Fall until I even take my vacation. I LOVE Fall!! Thanks for the opportunity to enter your contest, it’s a great one!! 🙂

When we have fall, I love the crispness in the air. I also love preparing for Thanksgiving which is a big celebration in my family.

  4. Emily W.

Well, I like slightly cooler weather. Unfortunately in Florida, we don’t have a whole lot of change in seasons 🙁 But I like traveling to see the leaves change and the weather will sometimes get colder, which is a plus 🙂

  5. Everything! It’s my favorite time of the year. I love the cooler weather, the scents of baked apple and cinnamon, pulling out my favorite sweaters. And of course, Halloween!

  6. Shannon Owens

Fall to me is the best time, after coming off the hot summers the air is cooler, you get an extra hour of sleep also. I’m not a summer person, don’t do the heat so I count down the days till the temps start to drop!!

I love the weather, I love how the wind blows and humidity goes down. to me Fall represents the holidays being right around the corner.

  8. Joanne B

I love the cooler temps and being able to open the doors and windows to let the breeze blow through and the changing of the colors of the leaves.

Fall is so wonderful! In Central Texas, we are finally through with the triple-digit heat – this weekend has seen temps in the 70’s and 80’s. It is finally comfortable to bake cookies for the kids again… We don’t have the beautiful fall leaves that the northern states do, so a road trip may be in order. Another wonderful thing about fall – fewer allergy-inducing pollens! Of course, we have Halloween and Thansgiving to look forward to also.

Living in Vegas, I LOVE that it is the time that it starts to cool down! The triple digit temps get old real fast! But when visting the east coast, I love the color of the trees!

I love the colors and the cooler weather! Nothing better when driving to have all the windows down with cool breezes! Thanks for the chance to win! 🙂

I love the crisp blue sky, the way the air smells, the beautiful colors of the leaves as the backdrop of a local lake, going to corn mazes/hayrides/carving pumpkins, eating persimmons & looking at the silverware in the seeds, sipping warm apple cider, thanksgiving, but most of all-I love 11/27 because it’s my youngest child’s birthday 😉

  13. Shannon G.

I love the cooler temperatures so I can layer up! Plus I sleep so much better when it’s colder and I have to snuggle under the covers. Ahhh. Plus my birthday is in the fall, so yay!

  14. Renee B

I love the color change of the leaves, (don’t much like picking them up though) the cooler weather, and ….. the kids being back in school.
Thanks for the chance to win.

Besides my daughter started College (YEAHH) I love the cooler days and nights. The beautiful colors of the trees and foliage and the smells that fall brings. (that we won’t be enjoying down here in Arkansas this year due to the severe drought). Decorating the indoors and outdoors for fall and Halloween. If I were up in Michigan with my mom, we would be visiting all the cider mills for some fresh, homemade cider and donuts.

Change of tree leaf colors is not as prevalent here in Houston as in the Northeast part
of the country. Therefore, I focus mainly on the cooler temperatures. When one has
suffered through drought and triple digit temperatures, cool weather is such a joy!!!
This morning at 8 am, it was a lovely 67 degrees! Thank you, Lord, for blessing us
    with cooler temperatures!!!

Definitely the cooler weather, the colors of the leaves, the greater choice of clothing and the holidays coming round the corner. Thank you for the contest.

  18. Leni

That would be celebrating my birthday 🙂
Also, I love the cooler weather and the changes that take place with nature and the way people settle into the season.

  19. books4me

Autumn has always been my favorite season! Growing up in Wisconsin, I LOVED the changing of the colors. It’s also about cooler days and visiting orchards for freshly picked apples and pumpkins!

  20. Susan W.

The best things about fall is the cooler temps, the leaves changing colors and being able to sit outside around the chiminea and enjoy it in the evenings. Oh, and fixing lots of casseroles, soups and stews without over heating the house. Thanks for the giveaway!

I love the colors and the cool temperatures at night. I don’t love the shorter days so much! jepebATverizonDOTnet

  22. DarkBloodyVamp

There is something about the changing colours of the leaves and the mild temperatures that I love about fall. Not too hot and not too cold but most of all it has my two favorite things, My birthday and Halloween! 🙂

  23. Lori Meehan

About the only thing I like about fall is the leaves changing colors they are so beautiful. I love spring and summer so fall is sad for me.

I think I will have to get me some gumbo this week. We are having a cold snap. 69 degrees!!! Breaking out the hoodies.. lol

  24. Sophie E.

I love that it’s the time of my birthday as well as my sister’s so we see the family a lot despite living in different parts of the country. I also love the changing of the colors in nature and I like not having to wear summer clothes but not having to wear full-on winter clothes 🙂

  25. Lisa G

I would like the temps getting to a normal level, but it’s still in the 90’s. Hopefully it will cool down a little soon

I love the cooler weather, the beautiful fall colors and the smell of burning leaves. There is also Halloween and Thanksgiving and football!!!!

  27. Angie M

I have always seen fall as a time of renewal. I love the beautiful fall colors. I love Halloween. For some reason, many important events in my life have happened in the fall. Also my nephew & 2 of my nieces are fall babies!

  28. melinda

What do I love about fall? How can I say it any better than this: I AM A FARM GIRL BORN AND RAISED!!!! Cooler weather, crops being harvested, the changing colors of Autumn, high school football with the cooler nights, smell of homemade chili simmering all day, kids going back to school, mmmmm………I think that about covers it! Does it sound like I’m a farm girl? Well, you can take the girl out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the girl!!!!!!

  29. Tracey D

I love how the leaves change colors and the bloom of the mums. I also love the crispness in the air. It’s just cool enough for a jacket or a sweater but there is no need for gloves and a hat…yet!

I love to leave my bedroom window open at night and place a blanket or two on the bed. As my grandmother used to say, “It’s good sleeping weather!”

  30. Thank you all for stopping by!!! Spring and Fall in Texas are my favorite, living 20 mins from Galveston means the temps are awesome and humidity is actually mild.

CONGRATS Sarah A, you are the winner!
