Win one of Bella Andre’s SULLIVANS books (digital format, winner’s choice)
Today we have the pleasure of talking to the awesome and sweet Bella Andre!
GP. There are all different kind of men in your Sullivan Series. From firemen to baseball players, actors to photograper and, of course our wonderful winery owner. Are these all your fantasy men?
BA: You know how partial I am to alpha heroes! It’s really fun to think about all the different kinds of professions a really hot, successful and sexy man can have. I love doing research for each book and learning more about each of my heroes. In my latest book, LET ME BE THE ONE, Ryan Sullivan is a pro baseball player. I grew up with a baseball-fanatic father and brother, so it was always a part of my life. I loved thinking about the issues a professional baseball player might have with falling in love.
GP: Do you deliberately write strong female characters that not only compliment them, but challenge them?
BA: Yes, I do deliberately write strong female characters. My heroes are all so strong that they need an equally strong woman to push them to become even better men.
GP: Will we see Rafe in a spin off series?
BA: Yes, Rafe Sullivan will definitely be getting his own book! He’s a PI in Seattle and I can’t wait for everyone to get to know him and his siblings in the Pacific Northwest better.
GP: Can you share any future series or new books you have in the works?
BA: Smith Sullivan’s book will be out this winter, Lori Sullivan (aka Naughty) will be out next spring, and then Rafe’s book will be the ninth book in the series.
GP: Since you have been so successful at self publishing does you have any plans to do a seminar or book on how be a successful self published author?
BA: I’ve been speaking at a lot of conferences this year to authors about self-publishing. I really enjoy sharing my experiences with other authors and publishing professionals – and I absolutely love meeting readers!
Thanks so much for having me on your blog.
Happy reading,
Bella Andre

I think most firefighters are Alpha men. I mean – don’t they have to be in order to risk their lives every day. 🙂
Alpha males are take charge so I would guess law enforcement, fire fighting, any type of protective services. Entrepreneurs are alphas also. I have read a couple of books from the Sullivan series. Very enjoyable stories. Thanks, Ms. Andre.
Great interview. The Army, Navy, Marines all alpha males
I tend to think of firemen, military, law enforcement or bodyguard/protective service when I think of Alpha males. Mainly because of the types of situations they would/could find themselves in. They’re also portrayed that way in books and movies. Thanks for the giveaway 🙂
Thanks for a great post! I’d have to say law enforcement 🙂
I tend to see Alpha males as strong and dependable in any situation, so I too would have to go with Firefighters, Policeman, and Military men, but then there are those Construction guys, or like in the book If Your were Mine., which I am just reading now..a hunky car guy…
Policemen. I just have this image of a guy in full uniform with his vest on and a big gun in his hand…
I definitely think Firefighters are mostly Alpha Men, most Bodyguards are men and I think the majority of Secret Service and FBI agents are mostly Alpha Men. Thanks for the info on the upcoming books.
Firefighters or policemen. Thanks for the chance to win!
I think the Seals are mostly Alphas, also most military service members
and law enforcement. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

I know I can’t win but had to add my comments. First, Bella, thank you so much for taking the time to talk with us. It was an honor! Secondly, since I have a Firefighter husband and son and I am a former police officer, I tend to see them a little differently. I could only hope my son turns out like Gabe – I would be so very proud of him (not that I’m not now). I adore baseball so thoroughly enjoyed Ryan’s book. But, when I think of my ultimate “Alpha” male, I would have to go with a military man or a cowboy. Both of them get my heart a-fluttering.
I think men in the law enforcement believe they are alpha, but I think
MMA fighters are very alpha!
I agree with all the responses so far and want to add any athele, especially the pros. sucessful business owners are usually strong personaities, but not always that sexy, so I stick with the military, law enforcement, firefighters and athelets.
I agree with the above: marines, police, firefighters, the usual suspects. But I know a few alpha bikers, and like someone above said, MMA, yep!
Thanks for the interview!

While I agree with everyone’s answers I just want to add that CEO’S and CFO’s are alpha males as well!

Military, firefighters, law enforcement all stand out due to TV show and books. Really I think that there are ALPHA MALES in nearly every profession.
Two of my favorite alpha male professions would be bull riders and hockey players. Football and baseball players too. Maybe this is why I like sports so much! Thanks for the giveaway!
Thank you Bella for the great interview! Thank you all for stopping by!
Congrats to Ann Q you are the winner!
