Review – Return To Sender by Annabeth Albert

I love when I read a book that is just as fun, interesting, and sexy as it synopsis. Sometimes a synopsis is misleading but the one for Return To Sender was right on target and this is one of the most enjoyable novellas I’ve read in awhile.

Jack and Bree have known each other since junior high and both have a competitive streak especially with each other. When Jack receives a box belonging to Bree he opens it thinking it’s something he ordered only to discover a very large dildo. He can’t let it go because well, he’s Jack, so he calls her and she goes down to his apartment to retrieve it. He then issues a challenge, something she’s never been able to turn down, and things get pretty damn interesting and oh so very hot.

I won’t lie to you this book moves very quickly but because these two have a long history it doesn’t seem strange in fact, it’s rather enjoyable. Jack tempts Bree and she does some things she never thought she would do. Bree has a little bit of a self esteem problem which stems from getting pregnant and married at 18. The thing is Jack has always treated her like the smart woman she is, she just doesn’t see it. She believes he doesn’t like her and wants to challenge her on everything when in reality he’s sticking her virtual pigtails in a virtual ink well! He wants her, he’s always wanted her, and he’s finally decided the timing is right to prove it.

Annabeth Albert has written an amazing story about two people who probably should have always been together but instead took the long way around. I found Return to Sender to be completely enjoyable, very hot, and one that I’ll read again when I need a quick dose of sexy fun!
