Facing the past can only help clear a path to the future and sometimes Love is really all you need. ~ Shey, Guilty Pleasures
Description:
A Bad Boy is Good to Find begins the way most romances end, with kisses, caresses and professions of love. But when New York heiress Lizzie Hathaway finds out the man of her dreams is only after her money—which her father just lost in a publicized scandal—she knocks him unconscious with a champagne bottle, and runs off.
Conroy Beale may be a little wayward, but he’s not heartless. When his quiet, studious Lizzie goes on a dangerous partying binge, he tracks her down, kidnaps her, and forces her to dry out. Lizzie wants revenge on everyone, including Con, and he reluctantly agrees to go along with her scheme to exploit her unwelcome notoriety for money.
Her plan explodes in her face when she drags Con and a camera crew back to the Louisiana swamp he’s been running from all his life. Now Con must confront the pain he tried to escape, Lizzie fights feelings that don’t follow any script, and there’s that troublesome attraction that threatens to boil the bayou.

I would like to point out first that due to the sexual content this book is for mature readers. Which mean there is some pretty hot stuff!
Lizzie Hathaway had it all, heiress to an empire that she really had no desire to be a part of expectations she felt she could never meet in her parents eyes. However she meets Conroy Beale and he brought out her confidence to stand up to her parents, he made her feel beautiful and sexy something that she had always lack in her curvy body. He was gorgeous, wealthy, educated, everything she could ever want and he wanted her, or so she thought.
Everything comes crashing down around Lizzie and when she confronts Con and the truth comes out who he really is she can’t believe that she was so stupid. That anyone could actually want her, could actually just love her for who she was. Conroy really cares for Lizzie but Love he’s not capable of anymore. Heartbroken and angry Lizzie flees New York.
Lizzie hates Con actually she hates that she still cares for the man and when he shows up to save her from herself she is determined to get back at him for hurting her this time.
In a rollercoaster of events Con and Lizzie both discover things about themselves that facing the past can only help clear a path to the future and sometimes Love is really all you need.
Jennifer Lewis really knows how to bring out the laughter and the heartbreak in one sitting you couldn’t help but feel for these characters and in the end you felt as if you were right there with them.
