I fell in love with HOT bad ass motorcycle men after reading KA’s Motorcycle Man. I fell head over heels in love with the men of the Chaos Motorcycle Club. I loved, Tack and loved Shy just a little more, but Hopper Kincaid completely and totally won me over and made me swoon. Kristen Ashley is such a wonderful story teller that I can’t get enough of her books. When I am done with her books, I just want more. In my opinion that is a mark of a true storyteller in my book.
Lanie Heron is Tyra Allen’s best friend, and we first met Lanie in Motorcycle Man. Lanie has been through a lot starting with finding out that her fiance got himself involved with the Russian Mob. After being kidnapped along with Tyra, and witnessing her fiance’s death, Lanie does not let anyone in. She can’t seem to let go of the guilt she feels even after eight years. To Lanie if you have something, you can lose that something.
Hopper “Hop” Kincaid had been a member of Chaos since he was 24. He has helped Tack Allen turn Chaos around. Hop is proud of what he has helped accomplished with Chaos. He has done some questionable things, but he has done them all for the greater good of the Chaos family. Events that happen with Hop in Motorcycle man make you question just what type of man Hop is, but he is a true biker gentleman. But make no mistake, he is still a bad ass hot as hell biker!
Lanie wants one night and one night only and she wants it with Hopper Kincaid. Hop is not so sure about getting tangled up with Lanie. Hop knows what Lanie has been through and knows she has lots of issues to work out. Lanie is Tyra’s best friend and he does not want to cause problems between Lanie and Tyra and he especially does not want to cause problems between Tack and himself. But once they start, they both know one night will not be enough for either of them.
I absolutely loved watching Hop and Lanie’s love and relationship bloom over the pages of Fire Inside. Hop fought for Lanie. Every time Hop called her Lady my heart melted a little more. Hop and Lanie’s story is not all roses and rainbows, but in the end, when Lanie finally sees that Hopper Kincaid is THE ONE, their story gets a great ending that is only the beginning for them.
Another wonderful and fantastic read by Kristen Ashley. I am already waiting not so patiently for the next Chaos book.
