Callie has been running from her past for 9 years, always ready to leave in a moments notice if she feels threatened. Club Dominion had been her safety net for 4 years now and Thorpe her protector. She wanted Thorpe, she has loved him, wanted to be his for years but he doesn’t want her like that. Callie keeps everyone out, has only allowed Thorpe and Sean, her Dom, in barely. She is a bratty sub and that is who she is as well as a way to keep other’s from getting close. Callie believes they don’t know who she really is, but little does she know that they know more than they let on.
Thorpe, the owner of Club Dominion and a Master, has protected Callie since she arrived at his club 4 years ago. He wants Callie for himself but she’s collared now and he feels that he is too old for her. Add in his past and his own secrets and he can’t open himself up to let Callie know how he really feels about her. He will continue to protect her, even from her Dom if he feels that she is in danger. He has known Callie’s true identity and knows that she can flee at a moments notice if she feels threatened.

Callie at times thought she could handle everything by herself and it annoyed me reading her constantly one minute pull Sean and Thorpe close then the next push them away and demand to leave them behind. I personally loved Sean the most but Thorpe was a extremely close second in my opinion. Both of these men are alpha, sexy, and dominate in their own ways. They handled Callie together perfectly, they knew which Dom needed to handle the bratty little sub when she was a major brat. They both work together to protect Callie from the danger that is following her and they both would lay down their lives for her. They both cherish her. They both love her. They both can’t live without her.
I have been a fan of this series since book 1 and while it can be read as a standalone I highly recommend reading the entire series if you haven’t yet, not only because this series is seriously freaking hot but so you know more of the background of Callie and Thorpe. Theirs to Cherish has an element of danger, has smoking hot sex, and shows that not everyone is whom they may seem to be. This is a must read for the fans of Shayla Black.
