I LOVED this book! The premise was unique and watching the dynamic between the main characters unfold and change was like foreplay, making my heart race while I breezed through this book. ~Leigh, Guilty Pleasures
Description:
My cock has an appetite.
A huge and very particular appetite: Blonde, curvy, and preferably not a fucking liar…(Although, that’s a story for another day.)
As a high profile lawyer, I don’t have time to waste on relationships, so I fulfill my needs by anonymously chatting and sleeping with women I meet online.
My rules are simple: One dinner. One night. No repeats.
This is only casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing less.
At least it was , until “Alyssa”…
She was supposed to be a 27 year old lawyer, a book hoarder, and completely unattractive. She was supposed to be someone I shared law advice with late at night, someone I could trust with details of my weekly escapades.
But then she came into my firm for an interview–a college-intern interview, and everything fucking changed…
Book 1 in a three part Erotic Romance Serial.

I LOVED this book! The premise was unique and watching the dynamic between the main
characters unfold and change was like foreplay, making my heart race while I breezed through this book.
Andrew Hamilton is a sexy, powerful attorney with an extreme aversion to liars and relationships. Preferring to limit his sexual encounters to women he meets through a dating website that are fully aware of his intentions, he goes by the handle of “Thoreau” and stands by his rule of “One dinner. One night. No repeats.”
The only person in recent memory where he has entertained thoughts of anything more is Alyssa, a woman he has never even met. Having encountered one another on a website for lawyers seeking professional advice, Thoreau and Alyssa begin a mentor relationship that has slowly grown into a true friendship, with the added bonus of naughty texts and late night phone calls.
But when Alyssa and Andrew accidentally meet in the real world and realize one another’s true identity and the lies that have been told, Andrew feels torn between a sense of betrayal and the lust he continues to feel.
Both Alyssa and Andrew are extremely interesting characters. Alyssa is smart, confident and just a strong character caught up in a web of lies that she never intended to spin. Neither malicious nor calculating, she is just caught up in a mess of her own making. Andrew on the other hand, is more complex. He is hot and dominating and not always likeable, but still honest enough that he is entitled to his anger at the lies that were told to him. His actions make you want to despise him, but that never quite happens and I found myself actually rooting for him, no matter how much of a jerk he became. Watching him uncover Alyssa’s identity had me whipping though the pages so quickly to find out what happens, and the interactions between these two are full of anger, emotion, and scorchingly HOT.
It is difficult to say much more without giving away a storyline that is more enjoyable when read as the author has told it. Be warned that this is part one of a three part serial and ends on a cliff-hanger that will leave you, like me, actively waiting for the next installment to be released!
