Monsters and a hell of a good time. You’ll also end up with wet panties … a new appreciation for Uber Doms … an appreciation for male subs … and … absolutely in love with both Mack and Ramsay!
As for the storyline, well, let’s just say that Sorcha brought the Badass Brats to another level. The dynamics between all four of them is unbelievable. Watching Winter go from the Ice Queen to a Submissive for Ramsay with Mack still feeding her Masochist needs was unbelievable. Saya going from the obedient, loving, serving slave to a mouthy little thing was amazing. Mack going from the brutal Sadist to being Submissive was just plain HOT! Ramsay is a force all in himself. Coming to terms with the fact that he was attracted to Mack and facing his bi-sexuality was wonderful to watch. Bringing Spider into the storyline threw me off a little but then it all came together making me understand where Winter was at and where she had to go.
And, pay attention to the band. Really read the words to the songs that they sing … they fit this book and their lifestyle like a glove. You have to wonder how people didn’t know what kind of kink they were really into.
I have loved reading the Badass Brats series from the beginning. Sorcha brought two couples together that you would never imagine being together. She also made it fun with a little bit of angst thrown in for good measure – Ramsay facing his bi-sexuality, Winter facing her Submissive side. Mack and Saya knew exactly what they wanted and went after it with both barrels blasting. As for Spider, he turned out to the be the glue that kept the four of them together, as a family, as a band, as a Dom with his three collared Submissives. I am going to warn you though … the story does start off with knife and blood play. Please don’t let it turn you away – you will not be disappointed and there is so much more to the book than that. You’ll be amazed at how wonderful Sorcha wove this story into being one of love, trust and happiness.
