I was so surprised by my feelings about this hero and this story and as much as I’ve loved each book in this series this one is by far my favorite. Can you imagine; a favorite book in a series about a man I wanted annihilated off the face of the planet? ~ Slick, Guilty Pleasures
Description:
“She s burned out and he s down and out, but together they might light up the night. ”
Georgie Zielinski s success in the hospitality industry comes to an abrupt end when her new boss says she needs to put out or get out. So Georgie gets out, investing her savings and 401k in a dilapidated B&B in Saddle Wells, Texas. Hiring help isn t high on her to-do list, but when a rough-around-the-edges cowboy offers his handyman services, she listens to her gut and takes him on.
Cade Hannigan would eat humble pie all day if he could afford it. The silver spoon he was born with is tarnished and he s down to the clothes on his back, a beat-up truck and a reputation so bad no one in three counties will hire him. Except a newcomer like Georgie.
As they work to bring the old B&B back to life, Georgie and Cade s connection explodes into a wild ride of passion. But when Cade s past comes back to slap him in the face, their chance to be together starts to disappear like smoke.
Warning: Contains a bad boy hammering out a new future, a good girl not afraid to get a little dirty okay a lot dirty and and a whole new definition for sweat equity.”
Review copy provided for an honest review

I adore reading series books, I always have so when I started Bare Naked and realized this was Cade’s story the biggest egomaniac on the face
of the planet from book 2 in this series, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this book. In my review of Buck Naked, I had this to say about Cade, “I’ll admit I really wanted to see Cade get his comeuppance from either Buck or Matt! Since this is a series though I’m hoping we’ll eventually see this happen.” Well, it didn’t come from Buck or Matt but it did come and Cade was seriously stripped bare and left with nothing; no money, no friends, no job, and no life. What amazed me is how this author was able to take a character that was truly hated by so many readers and write him in a way that not only can you look beyond his past mistakes but you actually see him as a decent person. I was so surprised by my feelings about this hero and this story and as much as I’ve loved each book in this series this one is by far my favorite. New in town and running from her past Georgie Zielinski is happy when three women ask her to join them one night in a local bar. Offering her advice and suggestions about the B&B she is renovating and warning her to look out for the drunk in the corner, Cade Hannigan. However, when Cade shows up on her doorstep offering to be her handyman and work hard she sees something in him and gives him a chance to prove himself.
I really loved the way these two fell into a relationship and the fact that even though they both felt a spark the minute they met, they kept to themselves. Cade because he had something to prove and Georgie because she was concerned about what her new friends would think. As time goes on Georgie begins to see a different man than she was told about and Cade shows her nothing but kindness when she in injured. He also insists on confessing his sins to her before they embark on a physical relationship. I like that she listened, that she didn’t judge him for his past, and that she saw the man he hoped to be lurking inside. Georgie had a few skeletons in her own closet and Cade was good about making sure she knew he thought she was special. Their intimate times are sexy and all encompassing and believe me everyone is completely satisfied including the reader!
While they end up facing the wrath of some of the people in town, I love that Georgie had Cade’s back; she continued to defend him even when everyone was coming at her with both barrels blazing. Cade did an extremely unselfish thing in order to help Georgie which I think proved he truly was a changed man.
From beginning to end I was thoroughly caught up in this story and I’ll be the first to say that I was surprised by how much I love it but the fact remains, I did love it. Heartwarming yet incredibly sexy this second chance story is the best in this series to date.
