If you are into New Adult books, you don’t want to miss this one. If not (like me) you do not want to miss this one. I’m so glad I took a chance on it. ~ Kimber, Guilty Pleasures
Description:
One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.
But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation—and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out—Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume—her sweet, filthy fling—to France for the summer and just…play.
When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away.

Wow, this was my first time reading anything by the writing duo that is Christina Lauren and I was really impressed with their knack for pulling me in right away. There was so much to love in this book but I especially loved the characters and well written dialog. There is very little angst but enough to keep it moving nicely. It also happens that I am a sucker for Vegas romances and Sweet Filthy Boy did not disappoint.
Our story begins with Mia graduating from college and she and her two friends head to Vegas for some fun, putting all the stress of “what happens next” behind them for the weekend. Ansel and his mates are also in Vegas to celebrate then go back to their jobs in separate countries. Mia is a little shy and doesn’t open up well, even to her closest of friends, but with Ansel, things are different. She feels like she can tell him anything and ends up talking and telling him things the first night they meet that she’s never told anyone. A connection is made and though a good bit of alcohol is involved and not everything is remembered, the bond is set and things move pretty fast from there. You’ll just have to read it to find out because I’m not giving any of it away. I will say the day after the drunkfest had me laughing. The friends on both sides are really funny and their stories are set up for future books. I CAN’T WAIT!
I swooned, I totally swooned over Ansel. Big sigh! He’s French, and sweet, and smart, and typical in that he doesn’t think sometimes before he does something, but his feelings for Mia never wavered and I can forgive his shortcomings because he’s just so dang sweet. I really love that he guided Mia through a really tough time and feel like he helped show her the way which enabled her to grow as a person. By the end I felt she was someone who can make hard decisions that are best for her, and not necessarily what others want or expect.

Thank you for this super steamy, feel-good story. I’m now a fan.
