Billionaire Under the Mistletoe
Max has avoided Christmas for reasons, things he has avoided for years. Max is trying the make Christmas special for his sister and niece so he tells his secretary to deliver Christmas. She is tasked at the last minute to find someone to do this and her cousin volunteers. Sophie can’t believe Max would try to have Christmas delivered and takes on the task of making it special for his sister and niece, but she has reasons of her own for not going with friends to spend Christmas. In doing so, Sophie finds out things about Max that she never would have thought. Reasons for them both avoiding Christmas tie them together and they both help each other to see Christmas is special. Was a great short read.
Snowed in with her Boss
Luc and his secretary Amelia end up taking a last minute trip before Christmas. Luc is the humbug of Christmas and has been avoiding his feelings for his secretary but with this trip and close quarters things change and heat up. Amelia is struggling with her dull relationship with her fiancée, who is not who everyone thinks he is. She knows she needs to end it but doesn’t want to disappoint her family. This last minute trip with her boss has brought to light that she needs to end this and find true love. Luc has things in his past that he struggles with and Amelia helps him understand that family is important. Funny short read with carols and snowstorms and a little bah-humbug.
A Diamond for Christmas
Tequila makes you do bad things, hee hee. That is what happens to Riley when she ends up in bed with her best friend James, only to realize it was a mistake. Riley works for James and can’t avoid him, but after she tells him she is leaving after the Christmas window is done, James decides to take things into his own hands and has to try to convince Riley that what they have is good and can work. James has is work cut out for him in his pursuit, but he isn’t about to give it up and let Riley walk away. Short funny Christmas read.
