Once the flame is ignited, there s no escaping the heat.”

Hannah Daniels reads steamy romance novels so she can forget her lack of a personal life and the fact that the one time in her life she took a risk on love, her heart was left in pieces. Her busy schedule means she reads whenever she can make time. Like at the laundromat while sitting on top of a washing machine.

Mason McNally has waited his whole life for a woman who stirs his soul. When he finds her, she s nose-deep in a racy paperback, perched atop a vibrating washing machine. Her beauty, boldness and raw sensuality definitely stir something in Mason. But there s a problem. He s forgotten he s wearing a wedding ring.

No amount of hasty explanations that it s for his brother s psychology experiment keeps her from disappearing. Now he s consumed with finding her again and convincing her that her first impression was wrong, and their spark of attraction is oh so right.

This book has been previously published.

Warning: Contains a meddling psychologist brother, an overbearing brother-in-law, a creepy ex-boyfriend, a romance-writing group with a vivid imagination, a stalker with a Hallmark obsession, a hairless dog named Monkey, and a knight in fire-polished armor.”

I really do enjoy love at first sight books especially when that love hits one over the head like a ton of bricks but the other one is skeptical. In Jenna Bayley-Burke’s Just One Spark Mason McNally knows the minute he lays eyes on Hannah Daniels that she’s the one for him, he just has to convince her. A man on a mission and a stubborn woman with trust issues leads to some pretty interesting conversations, some sexy loving, some hurtful words, and eventually one heck of a surprise.

It was really hard not to love Mason McNally from the minute he walked on the page especially when he thought he’d really screwed up with the woman he knew was going to be his one and only. I loved his determination, his pursuit, and most of all I loved how understanding he was even when Hannah got scared and tried to push him away. Hannah was a little tougher to get. She was stubborn and at times she could be a bitch. I understood her issues but I hated that Mason paid for mistakes she made with a previous boyfriend. I liked that she was career oriented and that she was perfectly capable of taking care of herself but I would have liked to see her at some tell Mason she appreciated everything that he did and thank him for understanding her career was important to her.

One thing that was evident from the beginning was the absolute attraction these two had for one another. Their sexy times were crazy hot and very satisfying for everyone involved including the reader but there was so much more to their story and both of their families added interest and conflict.

Interesting characters, an entertaining plot, and lots of steamy, sexy fun makes Just One Spark another great addition to author Jenna Bayley-Burke’s impressive list of work.
