I love books that have been continued, previously being left on a cliffhanger, but am often left 
wanting more. Stars in Their Eyes is definitely not one of these! Delving into Jess and William’s friendship/business partnership turned more is exactly what I would have wanted between them.
Stake outs that lead to sexy library makeout sessions under street lights, cooking exactly what Jess wants before a little “anatomy” study session, and sharing ice cream that leads to some love licks are just a few of the scenarios that these two find themselves into. Blakely finds a way to make sure that there is substantial plot and intrigue in this story though, always keeping the reader on their toes. “Kissing her was not optional. It was mandatory, and as necessary as air or breath.” From celebrity gossip, to a scandal from one said celebrity that becomes Jess’ friend, and sweet unrequited love in general, this is another Lauren Blakely must read!
