Marcela Medina, Cela, is a woman that has her whole life planned out for her. Once she graduates, in Veterinary medicine, she will return home and follow in her father’s footsteps, working at his office, living in the house waiting for her, even being with the socially approved man. Fighting with her parents for the opportunity to even leave the nest to get her degree, she moves to find her way out of the Catholic restraints she has been contained in since birth. But the good girl Cela is, even through all 7 years of school, she focuses on her education, and learning all she can; neglecting herself.

Finding herself on graduation night, Officially Dr. Medina, Cela decides that she is going to take up her oh so sexy neighbors on a night out on the town to loosen up and experience things from her list of “to do’s” that she has never gotten a chance to accomplish. Knowing the two have shared their women (got to love thin walls) and Foster, the businessman in suits, likes the BDSM lifestyle and being dominated tingles her in places she didn’t realize possible. Pike, the rocker, balances out Foster, and the two together are irresistible. Finally conquering her fears, and releasing her inner goddess, the three tread into territories unknown to the modest shy Cela.

Dealing with the real possibility of falling in love, and living the true S&M lifestyle, which is what Foster craves and Cela (albeit unknowingly) desires turns into a constant struggle between the two. With Cela being so “vanilla” and Foster worrying and breaking her spirit, or having his heart broken, the battle rages throughout the series.

There are other internal battles that happen with these characters, in their own lives, throughout the series that keeps the reader aptly attentive and wanting to read on. Tragedy, love, expectations and lots of wonderful sex makes this series a fantastic read. I love that I was able to read these novellas as a whole set and finish it in one setting. Had I not been able to and had to wait, man that would have been hard!! ☺ And the bonus novella, So Into You, was a nice treat.
