I have been following the New Hope series since the very beginning. This is actually how I found Lexi Ryan and her amazing work. In every book, we saw a little more of Phoenix Reed (Nix). Already exposed to a deeper level of Max with Hannah, the reader wants these two characters to have their happily ever after. When Playing With Fire came out, to say I was excited was an understatement!!
This book did not fail to meet my expectations by any means. With twists and turns in every chapter, peeling back the layers that is the amazing Nix and learning more about Max through the dual POV’s, I didn’t want the book to ever end! On the other hand, reading on and on to see what happened next was something I had no control over. The chemistry between these two was amazing and so H-O-T!! Believe me, this is one you definitely don’t want to miss!
