Six hundred minutes. That’s all it took ex-SEAL Kade Kingston to find trouble his first day home. He’d managed to survive covert operations in the hostile mountains of Afghanistan, only to be brought down by a baseball bat. If he had the first five hundred minutes back, he would have only had one drink before insisting his old friend tell him what the hell was going on. As it stood now, he and Sutton were both dead in the water—literally and figuratively. Six hundred minutes. That’s all it took for Kade Kingston to walk back into hell in his own backyard, losing everything in the process . . . including his freedom.

Inmate dog trainer, Harley Dash, knew Kade briefly as a teenager and was convinced of his innocence. Wanting to help the brooding ex-SEAL, she took it upon herself to force Kade into the Inmate Dog Training Program while she looked for a killer. With Kade confined, Harley and her father, along with two sexy SEALs, looked for evidence that would set Kade free.

Unfortunately, for Kade, Sutton’s murder was just the tip of the iceberg in a case of corruption and murder, one that will send Kade and Harley into the Florida Everglades with a killer.

Will they survive the alligators of the Florida Everglades, or will the Dread Pirate Roberts exact his revenge?

Kade has had a rough life. Growing up with his grandfather, Pops, and younger brother Kyle, hepurestdelightawardwas forced to grow up quicker than a normal child. Straight out of school into the military, Kade just wanted to make a better life for himself and what little bit of family he had. Maybe one day, marry and have kids even. Then there is that one that he can’t stop thinking about…that gorgeous cheerleader he “saved” from imminent danger in high school when a cheerleading pyramid went awry. Boy, would he love to have that one! But he believes they are in different leagues; that he will never be good enough to have her.

In comes Harley. Sweet, innocent, spunky as hell but doesn’t know the assets she has, Harley. Living through her mother’s death and a divorce from a marriage that never should have happened, Harley is content to always work in her dad’s motorcycle shop. Seeing the elusive sexy Kade walk into the shop brings back memories that has Harley reeling. She would never be able to have a relationship with bad boy Kade. Why even fantasize about it? But boy, do those fantasies when she’s home alone get hot when he is the star of her dreams.

The plot of this story is absolutely enthralling. It isn’t your normal boy meets girl, they fight, make up, and finally end up together, happily ever after. The suspense has the reader on the edge of their seats, never being able to turn the pages quick enough. Knowing immediately that the man of her dreams would never commit the heinous crime he is being accused of, in jail for, and serving time for, the sweet dog trainer does everything in her power to free him; even when those are against Kade, him self’s, wishes.

Finally, intro bad ass Navy Seals. Being introduced to some of Kade’s teammates (and hopefully future stories will come with these boys 😉 ), Harley is bound and determined her gut is correct and Kade is innocent. With the help of the good guys, she does everything in her power to make sure Kade isn’t found guilty of something he no way would have done.

This book has amazing twists and turns that you don’t want to miss. The plot is one that pulls at your heart strings from the beginning and continues to get better through each page turn. You think you have it all figured out, and CP throws a kink into all your ideas. This is the kind of book I love; a book that is completely predictable doesn’t hold my attention. Framed will have you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end!
