You do not want to miss this complicated, sexy and highly satisfying story. ~ Slick, Guilty Pleasures

25949387Description:
Two is hot…three is explosive.

The last wedding former high school linebacker Colt Bennett attended was his own—to the woman his brother is now marrying. But tequila, romance and regrets make a bad combination, and the next thing he knows, he’s half passed out in his ex’s best friend’s truck.

That Paige Wilcox hates the sight of him is incidental, right?

At least until Colt calls his best friend and business partner, Drake, to give him a ride home, and somehow the three of them end up in Paige’s bedroom. There’s absolutely no reason why he should consider having a threesome…

Other than he’s been denying wanting both of them for months.

With Coach Carr on the mend and the rest of his high school football team back home, Colt’s starting to find his true place in his hometown. Except now he’s got even bigger problems than recriminations about the ex he’s long over. He’s falling for her best friend, and maybe even for his own…

Warning: Boys—and a girl—touch in this book. A lot.

One of the things I’ve always admired about author Cari Quinn is that she isn’t afraid to tackle hard or uncomfortable subjects and in Going Deep she takes on one man confused about his sexuality, another man in love with that man and a woman with body issues enjoying them both at the same time. Three people all carrying some baggage find happiness in each other’s arms even if they think it’s only temporary. You do not want to miss this complicated, sexy and highly satisfying story.

Watching your ex-wife marry your little brother and knowing that you cost them years together doesn’t make for the best time at a wedding, but Colt Bennett is determined to not only see the night through but to also make sure the happy couple realizes he is truly happy for them. When Colt and the object of his desire, Paige Wilcox need a ride home from the wedding Colt’s best friend and business partner, Drake Mondell which leads to a night they all enjoy immensely, but not without some big time complications.

First off I really liked these three together and while they all went into it thinking “just one night” they realized pretty quickly that wasn’t going to be enough. Paige really surprised me with how easily she acquiesced to their arrangement and took it mostly in stride; she really didn’t over think it nor did she worry too much about what others thought other than her best friend Charli since she was getting involved with her ex-husband. Drake was probably the most level headed about their association but he was in love with Colt and fell quickly for Paige and in his mind even if Colt wouldn’t accept what they had together he felt he would be very happy making a go of it alone with Paige. While it bothered him that Colt refused to even talk about his attraction towards him or discuss anything more than what they did with Paige there was no denying that Colt enjoyed it when Drake touched him. Poor Colt was dealing with so much guilt; he worried about being with his ex-wife’s best friend, he didn’t want to admit he felt anything more than friendship with Drake and he worried that everyone in town would say about him if he was involved in a triad relationship long term. It was interesting watching them all work through their issues all while finding it very difficult to not be together. This was an extremely sexual story and there was absolutely nothing wrong that, but there was a definite lack of communication especially from Colt. I kept waiting for the three of them to have a really big talk about their future and what they wanted together, but it never really happened which was a bit of a disappointment.

With the wedding and the town’s homecoming as a backdrop not to mention some other interesting romantic entanglements going on as well, Going Deep was a very entertaining and sexy story and another incredible offering from this author.
