When I saw that there would be a novella for the Manwhore series I was excited because I LOVE Saint. Yep I am one of his “Sinners”. What can I say? He’s hot and I would want that sexiness for my own. So obviously from the title I knew it would be about Saint and Rachel’s wedding, so I was like woo hoo I get more Saint. It pains me to even say this but I wasn’t woo hooing for long. I was just wanting them to hurry the hell up and get married by the time I hit the halfway mark.
Rachel’s friends used to get on my nerves in the first two books, but in Ms. Manwhore I can compare it to nails screeching down a chalkboard. That is how much I wish they would have just shut up. Don’t even get me started on Rachel at this point, she wasn’t my favorite in Manwhore but I warmed up to her in Manwhore + 1. I almost wish that she would have added this to the end of the previous book because honestly it was unnecessary.
My only other wish is that we would have gotten Saint’s POV this time, a chapter, just something. I personally would have enjoyed it more had it been in Saint’s POV since he was the manwhore and him settling down was a huge thing. It was still sexy like we have come to expect but I think this is one that maybe shouldn’t have been a novella.
I’m in the middle of reading this and agree 100% with your observations, friends and all.
