Candace Blevins is bringing us deeper into the world of the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club with a bang. Bash, Volume 1, is the beginning of what is going to be an exciting 
story with twists and turns, a touch of BDSM, and hot shape shifter sex. It’s Bash’s turn and I think we are going to have a wild ride ahead of us. This story is going to be complex and probably have some bumpy roads so, Ms. Blevins is breaking this up into three volumes. Lucky for us, she’s releasing all three within a few weeks of each other. Her reasoning for this … I don’t think she wants us to stalk her or yell too loudly with cliff hangers. Well, the end of Volume 1, in my opinion was more of a teaser – gave us something to look forward to when Volume 2 releases in a month.
Bash and Angelica have a history together. He killed for her then held her during one of the roughest times in her life. His Princess was never far from his mind but he knew the President’s daughter was totally off limits. It was his job to protect her, protect her virginity and keep her safe.
Angelica lusted after Bash since she was a teenager. Brain and Bash were her salvation growing up. But, she had to move on with her life. First stop at college – lose virginity. Being the wild biker babe is saved for week-ends off campus, on campus, she’s the studious Engineering student. But, graduation is bringing her home and back into the fold of the RTMC. Will Bash be there for her as he has in the past? Will there still be that closeness that they had before?
Well, it’s yes to both of those questions but there are some twists and complications that come with this territory. Namely, his being a pimp and her going on dates with the Chattanooga District Attorney. Untimely raids on the “house”, attacks by rival groups, distrust, all have Angelica rethinking the decisions she’s made since her return. Then there is the scene with the DA and the run in the woods with Bash that totally confuses her and has her emotions in turmoil.
We’re going to leave the synopsis right there because what Angelica wants and what happens just before the end of Volume 1 will have you reeling. Thank God Ms. Blevins ended it where she did … if she ended it sooner, there probably would have been a mutiny. But, now we wait to see just what does happen when that door opens.
So, Candace Blevins leaves us with a little cliff hanger … a happy ending for now. That is highly unusual for her and she totally surprised me with this decision. But, I understand it. She has set up a lot of scenarios in this first installment. We have Bash, the DA, the rival gang, the discord still between Brain, Duke and the RTMC, a new “girl” in the house from another pack, Bud. There’s a lot that could happen and a lot that I expect to happen and, if she didn’t break this book up, we probably would have had a book as big as War and Peace. So, I am not disappointed that she decided to give us Bash in three books with a little break in between each of them. Am I dying to know what is going to happen, hell yea! But, patience is a virtue (I’ll keep telling myself that).
