This was an interesting little novella, with a quirky plot, some sizzling sex scenes and likable characters.
Hannah Roberts runs the Tavern she inherited from her grandfather in Loving, Kansas. She has a crush on two of the men who play poker each week in her establishment, but knows the two gay men aren’t for her. Brody Markham and Drew Pate are in a BDSM relationship, but they aren’t gay, they are bisexual. Both are drawn to Hannah, but neither has acted on the attraction until circumstances throw them all together. Can Hannah become the submissive the two men are seeking? Can she handle that her lovers have each other as well as her? And can they all stay safe when her abusive ex-husband arrives to try and claim half the Tavern-even though he and Hannah were divorced when she inherited it.
Hannah is portrayed as a strong woman who is willing to turn some of her decision making over to the two men who love her. What’s not to love about Brody-strong, protective and dominant. Mainly because Drew is a sub to Brody, is it harder to see him as a dominant for Hannah-although he does prove to be equal to the task.
Overall, a sexy little read.
