From New York Times bestselling author Penelope Ward, comes a new forbidden STANDALONE romance.

What happens when the one you want is the only one you can’t have?

My name is Sevin.

Homeschooled and sheltered by my ultra-religious family, I was always taught that lust was a sin.

Elle was the girl who’d been carefully chosen for me.

After a long-distance courtship, I’d be moving into her family’s guesthouse so that we could get to know each other in the months before the wedding.

Boundaries were set: no inappropriate touching, no kissing, no sex before marriage.

I’d accepted those rules and my fate.

Until I met the one I wanted to sin with.

That was when restraint became a problem…especially since THE ONE wasn’t Elle.

It was her sister, Evangeline.

You know what they say about best laid plans.

My name is Sevin, and I have sinned.

**Told in alternating points of view, Sins of Sevin is a full-length standalone novel. Contains graphic sexual content and harsh language. Only appropriate for adult readers age 18+.

After binge reading this book, I find myself to be a mess of tears and exhaustion. What a fantastic purestdelightawardstory.

Fans of Ms. Ward’s Stepbrother Dearest will absolutely love this story because it had the same feel to it. Two people that truly and desperately loved one another, but due to circumstances, simply could not be together without hurting innocent people along the way. It was heartbreaking and sweet and oh so sad.

In order to secure a future, Sevin Montgomery agrees to court Elle, the daughter of a religious family. She is sweet, in love with him, and Sevin feels that he can do his duty to hold up his end of the bargain. What he didn’t bargain on was falling in love with her sister, Evangeline.

Evangeline is everything Elle is not. She is strong, independent and the other half of Sevin’s soul. They both are good people thrust into a situation where hurting the ones they love is just as much of a sin as denying their true feelings.

I loved both Sevin and Evangeline. They were strong characters who were honest to a fault and I truly liked that about them. Their relationship, while beginning at a horrible time, was built on a foundation of openness and honesty with one another. They didn’t just feel a physical attraction, but they fell in love with the other’s soul. They both made enormous mistakes, and they paid dearly for their sins.

Sins of Sevin was a sweeping story that spanned decades and it ruthlessly dragged me along with it. The trials that these people went through made the journey worthwhile so I don’t want to spoil it for anyone. I’ll just say that I smiled, I cried, I mourned for the losses, and I enjoyed every second of this fantastic book.
