Fun, sweet but with a steamy side I loved this book! ~ Slick, Guilty Pleasures

Dina gave her boss the bird, peeled out of the parking lot of the office, and didn’t look back. It was the first time in forever she didn’t have a plan. Her days, weeks, months, even years were planned out in fifteen minute increments filled with corporate meetings, lunches, and dinners. She drove for miles and miles, and hours and hours, before it clicked. She was headed to the last place she truly felt happy. A picturesque mountain town filled with character and characters.
Hope Falls was billed to provide rest, relaxation, and romance. Romance? If that was an option, she definitely needed a toothbrush.
And a razor.
Avery had spent the last week in Hope Falls and the quaint town had grown on him. After retiring as a hotshot firefighter, he had some downtime before deciding what came next, so he moved in to the local bed & breakfast—the one that was thought to have a love spell cast upon it. Rumor had it, you entered single, and left head over heels in love.
Avery had failed miserably in the romance department so he welcomed the chance to test the theory, if the right woman came along. Single and ready to mingle, Dina & Avery may be the next couple to fall victim to this charming home.

There’s something special about Hope Falls and Julie Prestsater gives us a love at first sight story in Love Remains. The Mountain Meadows Bed & Breakfast spell or curse depending on who you talk to is at work again when two people at a crossroads in their lives find each other and the life they both so desperately want. Visiting Hope Falls after retiring as a hotshot firefighter, Avery hopes to figure out what he wants to do next in his life. Immediately taken with the town and the friendly people, Avery feels like this is someplace he could call home.
Dina has decided to take back her life; after her boss demands she drop family plans for a client she quits her job and heads to the place she last felt relaxed. Visiting Hope Falls during a conference, she remembered the lovely town and the hot man who caught her attention even though his attention was zoomed in on someone else, but no matter she needs a break and to be anywhere but Los Angeles.
The zip, zing, knock you on your a$$ attraction hits both Avery and Dina the minute they see one another and it doesn’t let up. Thorough walks, dinners, movie nights and more they both are feeling way more than they should for just meeting one another, but it feels right. Discovering they both want the same things out of life just makes it better despite the obstacles they face.
I loved this story from the start and felt that way throughout, these are two people who mesh well, whose lives might have been in upheaval but together they felt centered, and finding one another was just what they both needed.
Love Remains is an excellent addition to the Hope Falls world and another fantastic story from Julie Prestsater.

This one sounds great! I’m really into small town romance right now, so it’s right up my alley. Great review!
Thanks for the review Slick
