Holla Dean has always been one of my go to authors for all things amazing BDSM. In this read, 
Sylvie is in her second marriage, after losing her husband, and happy with almost all aspects. Bill, her new husband, has a sort of gambling problem. After dealing with it for years, and having to bail him out more than once, she decides that enough is enough and something has to change to save their relationship.
In her first marriage, they lived in a Dom/Sub type relationship, where spankings were administered for wrongdoings. But Sylvie received the spankings, NEVER gave. Could she have it in her to deliver it, when deep down, she knows this might be what saves their marriage?
This read, from the beginning, was one that hooked me. You could tell that Sylvie was really the one in charge in the household, which you don’t really see a lot in this genre. I love the gender switch up in roles…really made me grin! Such a great read!
