Review – Come Monday (Wild Irish #1) by Mari Carr

Mari Carr really knows how to start a series off. She introduced us to each of the Collins children; she gave us a hot story; she drew us in and made us wonder how each of them would fall; she left us wanting more. Come Monday was exciting, sexy and hot as hell. She never let the story drag or become stagnant and she made sure we were satisfied (in more ways than one). On to Ruby Tuesday. ~ Kitty, Guilty Pleasures

Monday’s child is fair of face…

After the death of her mother, Keira Collins became a surrogate parent to her six younger brothers and sisters, her own dreams put on hold. Now, at twenty-seven, she’s finally pursuing a college degree. Between classes, working at the family pub and still tending to siblings, she’s no time for romance. So why is she spending all her rare free time fantasizing about hot Professor Wallace bending her over his desk?

Will Wallace recognizes Keira’s unfulfilled desires, her habit of hiding her beauty, her obsessive need to command every aspect of her life. But Will has needs of his own—and they run far darker than Keira’s. As he initiates her into his lifestyle, offering sweet punishments and sweeter rewards, Will’s sexual authority slowly strips away some of her precious control. The one thing Keira’s not ready to relinquish…

Seven Days – Seven siblings. Seven different love stories. A series that will knock your socks off purestdelightawardand leave you wishing there was more.

Wow. Kiera and Will. What a wonderful way to start a series. Two amazingly strong characters that will push you to finish the story and keep reading the Wild Irish series. Believe me … half way into the story, I couldn’t wait to see how Will was going to bring Kiera to her knees and get into Ruby Tuesday.

The Collins family are an unbelievable crew. They range from domineering to shy and from wild to timid. With their matriarch leading the way, offering support, they know where they stand in the family and in life. Each person is their own person with their own personality and quirks.

Keira is the oldest and feels that she is the most capable of running the family after her mother passed. She puts the responsibility of the whole family on her shoulders and wants more out of life than just being another pretty face. So, putting herself first is out of the ordinary for her. But, when her hot Professor shows an interest, she decides to take the leap and take something for herself. What she doesn’t know is just how big of leap she was taking and just what she was getting into.

Will. Unbelievably hot, sexy and dominant. He never takes an interest in his students. His colleagues have no idea just what he’s into. There is something about Keira that draws him to her. He could feel her submission, her sexuality whenever he is near her. He can’t stop himself from seeking her out and finding out just how submissive she really is … just how far he could push her into his world.

One date. One night. He knew he had to have her in his life. Kiera knew that Will could be the one to bring her to her knees … literally and figuratively. One incident sets her off and she chooses her responsibility to her family over her heart. It takes the wonderful Pat Collins to open her eyes and make her see just what she is giving up and that her family will survive without her hovering.
