Review – Sweet Thursday (Wild Irish #4) by Mari Carr

Okay, I thought the first three books of this series were steamy. Does Mari Carr know how to write ménage! So, I more than fanned myself through this story. I think I had to turn the AC on once or twice! But, besides the awesome sex, she gave us a truly wonderful story about love and friendship. ~ Kitty, Guilty Pleasures

Wild Irish, Book Four In high school, Lily was too shy to do anything about her feelings for her best friends, Justin and Killian. Now she’s ready to put to rest her regrets with a proposal that might shock even her oversexed friends-the three of them, together, one night, multiple positions. K and J are more than a little surprised to see Lily at their ten-year reunion. The plain Jane they remember is now a stunning woman-who wants to have sex with both of them. Who are they to deny her? Even if Killian suspects they might be treading on dangerous emotional territory. The night stretches into the weekend and, as K suspected, none of them want it to end. But he and Lily know people live in pairs, not trios, and they call a halt now, before it’s too late. Justin, however, knows a good thing when he sees it. He’s ready to fight for what he wants…what they all need. He just has to convince Lilly and Killian that unconventional can also be extraordinary.

Thursday’s Child has far to go…….

Killian … and Justin … and Lilly. Whoa. What a story this turned into! I kept fanning myself throughpurestdelightaward most of this book. Hot. Hot. Hot.

Shy, book-worm Lilly really turned into someone that both Killian and Justin can get down with. They have no idea that, when she left for college, she was secretly in love with them. Now, it’s time for them to find out what she wished for all through college. She just wants one night with both of them and then they could go back to the friendship that they all had together.

Killian gets it. He’s the level-headed one. Justin doesn’t get it. He’s the compulsive one. They may have convinced Lily to give them the weekend but Killian knows that there is no way they could make this work long-term, even though that’s what he wants in his heart-of-hearts. Both him and J are miserable trying to “just be friends” with Lily after the weekend they had with her. Justin finally loses it and lays it all out on the line. To hell with conventionality … everyone is going to just have to live with the fact that 2 men love Lily and that she loves them back!
Lily needs to get over her insecurities about what people will think, especially her brother. It’s her life and she is just a miserable as K and J are. When the time comes, she finally chooses herself. Now, to tell their families. It’s wonderful that all three of them are worried about Pops and how he will take the news. But, it’s Pop … all he wants is his children’s happiness.
