At every stop, we’d pick up souvenirs.
But as hot as our chemistry was, we never crossed the line.
Milo knew I’d just come out of a tough relationship and didn’t want to mess with
a vulnerable woman.
So instead, at the end of our trip, we made a pact to meet again in three
months.
It was always my intention to meet him.
But when I got back home, reality hit in a big way.
And I worried I may have lost my handsome stranger forever.
Was there a place for him in my future?
Or had the memory of him just become my favorite souvenir?
I feel as if every story I read from this duo becomes my next favorite book, and My Favorite Souvenir absolutely 
accomplished that feat. It’s adorable and sexy, with humor and heart thrown in. I loved them as Milo and Maddie, I loved them as Matteo and Hazel, and I loved their journey, no matter who they were.
The story starts in a such an amusing and unique way. Yes, these were two people pretending to be someone they weren’t, but those were just their names. Their meet cute was over the top adorable, and the way they were able to be themselves with one another right from the very start just captured my heart. Hazel was sweetly sassy and brave, and Matteo was so perfect that I don’t know how they stayed in the friend zone for as long as they did. I adored these adventuresome wanderers and their impromptu road trip, and truly regretted when that came to an end.
One thing that does frankly frustrate me with the books that these authors co-write is that they follow a formula, and I know I’m going to get to a point in the story where the hero and heroine are separated for a time, despite desperately wanting to be together, and the angst I feel during that period generally makes me want to throw my kindle. I know that they will have an HEA, but I still typically have to walk away from the book until I can psych myself up to go back and move past that part. How can I dread something I know I will love so much? Here, I never felt that way. Yes, there was the typical separation, but it did not come at the point in the relationship I thought it would, and I was able to finish this story angst free!
My Favorite Souvenir was a genuinely sweet and feel good story, and frankly I was not ready to leave this band of Hookers. I still wanted to tag along for the ride.
